Been playing with the Acme editor from #plan9port. Very much out of my comfort zone (vi-like editors) but so far I quite like it. My goal is to install #9front on my old Thinkpad T430 and use it for writing in my bedroom once I've properly gotten to grips with the editor. Seems like a solid choice of OS for reducing distractions and I find a lot of the ideas behind #plan9 really appealing.

General use daily driver is – and will remain – #openbsd, of course.

The terminal window is showing part of the rc(1) manual page, and then a call to "ape/uname -a", which has returned "Plan9 cirno 4 0 amd" (the 64 in amd64 is cut off by the mothra window) Below that is a small square paint window with a smiley face drawn on it Below that is a small square clock (date(1)) window On the right is a large Mothra(1) window showing https://rldane.space The AVIF images from the top article ("Mocking-up Photo Sharing over SMS") don't show, but the PNG image from the next one ("I loved Computers Before the Internet was a Thing") does.

Help, I have zero idea what I'm doing.
